China admits 5 Officers and soldiers killed in Galway clash
Eight months after a massive clash between the Indian and Chinese troops took place in Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh, China has acknowledged and named five of it’s officers and soldiers that were killed in the clash.
The state run news daily, Global Times reported the names of those killed as-Qi Fabao, the regimental commander from the PLA Xinjiang Military Command, Chen Hongjun, Chen Xiangrong, Xiao Siyuan and Wang Zhuoran.
The clashes that took place on June 15, occured when the Chinese troops prevented the Indian troops from marching to their site and attacled the Indian troops with spiked maces. 20 Indian soldiers were martyred during the clashes.
