The centre and the Delhi Government were at loggerheads today in court over the crisis in supply of oxygen in the national capital, due to which a lot of Covid-19 patients are in a dire situation.
This happened when the Delhi High Court was hearing the Delhi Government's SOS for more and an uniterrupted flow of oxygen to the hospitals in Delhi.
If we don't get 480 tonnes (of oxygen), the system will collapse. We have seen in the last 24 hours. Something disastrous will happen" stated the Delhi Government's lawyer- who further said that Delhi got only 297 tonnes of Oxygen on Friday.
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre shided off all these claims of inaction of the Centre and stated that let's try and not be a 'cry baby', in response to the Delhi Government's lawyer's claim that the centre was not complying with the guidelines of the oxygen allocation.
