The Centre on Saturday extended an invite to top leaders of Jammu and Kashmir, including National Conference's Farooq Abdullah, PDP's Mehbooba Mufti and others for an all-party meeting with PM Modi on June 24.
Union home secretary Ajay Bhalla reached out to all 14 political leaders of the region and extended them the invite, also asking them to present their Covid negative reports before.
The agenda of the meeting includes the meeting the final steps of the delimitation process after Article 370 abrogation and holding assembly elections in the region. There are also speculations on giving the present UT, statehood.
