Centre to bring privilege motion against TMC MPs for creating ruckus in RS

• The Centre is planning to bring a privilege motion against TMC MPs in the Rajya Sabha who are said to have misbehave with Union IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, when he was reading a statement on the Pegasus software leak.

• While IT minister Vaishnaw was reading out the statement, Trinamool Congress MP Santanu Sen snatched the paper from his hand and tore it up.

• Following this, Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri and TMC MP Santanu Sen also engaged in heated arguments

• Vaishnaw along with Parliamentary Affairs minister Pralhad Joshi, leader of the House in Rajya Sabha Piyush Goyal, ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and V Murleedharan held a meeting to discuss the events that went down today and reports are floating of possible privilege motion.
