
Centre Must Borrow ₹1.7 Lakh Crores To Meet GST shortfall: 5 Non-BJP States
5 opposition party run states have asked the central government to borrow ₹1.7 lakh crores instead of ₹1.1 lakh crores to meet the GST shortfall. For this, they have even asked the central government to arrange a meeting.
These 5 states have demanded the centre to borrow an entire amount of ₹1.7 lakh crores.
These 5 states include- Kerala, West Bengal, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
Out of these 5 states West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Kerala have already accepted the ₹1.1 lakh crore borrowing plan.
