
Bronze statue erected at site of crash to remember Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant
• A bronze statue of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant was erected at the site of the helicopter crash on their two-year death anniversary.
• The statue depicts the NBA legend looking down at his 13-year-old daughter adoringly with his left arm on her shoulder.
• Kobe is wearing his No. 24 uniform in the statue.
• The statue was lugged to the crash by Los Angeles sculpture Dan Medina. Medina has stated that the statue will stay on the site for a couple of day and he plans to display it on every anniversary and on Bryant’s birthday.
• He also said that he is working on a life-size version of the statue which is 90% complete and will stand at 6-foot and 7-inches.
• Dozens of people paid homage to the basketball legend and his daughter by placing flowers and memorabilia in front of the statue.
