[BREAKING] Protesting Farmers allowed entry in Delhi

  • The Delhi police allowed the protesting farmers to cross the Haryana-Delhi border on a regular basis after hours of lathi-charging and tear gas. Police are going to escort the producers. For two days, the farmers fought with the police and began their march to Delhi for a huge demonstration against new agricultural laws.

  • Farmers' parties, marching with tractors bearing food stocks and vital materials, tried from several points to reach Delhi, defying barricades, many covered in barbed wire. The Haryana police have dug trenches at different crossing points to avoid their advance. Tear-gassed farmers on the Haryana-Delhi border this morning were seen arguing with police who were attempting to drive them back.
