'Boycott Army' calls in Nagaland; until victims get justice

  • After the killing of 14 villagers on November 4 and 5 in Nagaland by the Army in a 'mistaken identity' case, there have been strong waves against the Army in the state.

  • The Konyak civil society organisation has issued a bunch of strict measures to issue a 'non-cooperation' with the Armed forces.

  • The organisation has appealed to all members of the Konyak tribe to to denounce agreements allotting land for setting up military bases and also ban the Army recruitment rallies, until justice is delivered to the victims of the Mon incident.

  • They have also asked the people to denounce all and any kind of public relation with the Army.
