
BJP received ₹785 crores in contribution in 2019-20
According to the report submitted by the Election Commission, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) presently led by JP Nadda received ₹785 crores in the form of contributions from the people of India.
India's second-largest party Indian National Congress (INC) received ₹139 crores in the form of contributions.
BJP received five-time mores than what INC received.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) and CPI(M) received ₹8 crores and ₹19.7 crores in the form of contributions.
The major contributors for BJP were Piyush Goyal, Pema Khandu, Kirron Kher, Raman Singh, ITC, Kalyan Jewellers, Rare Enterprises, Ambuja Cement, Lodha Developers, and Motilal Oswal.
