Biden and Harris named Times Person of the Year
President-elect Joe Biden and his running mate Vice-President elect Kamla Harris were named as the Times Magazine’s ‘Person of the Year.’
Time’s editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal says Biden and Harris won the honor for “changing the American story, for showing that the forces of empathy are greater than the furies of division, for sharing a vision of healing in a grieving world.”
Notably every US president since Franklin.D. Roosevelt has been named the Times person of the year. This is the first time that a Vice President has also been included in the group.
