Bhagwant Mann announces his personal number as 'Anti-Corruption Helpline'

  • On his first day in office, Punjab's newly elected Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the launch of an anti-corruption helpline today.

  • The helpline number will be launched on March 23, the death anniversary of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

  • He stated that this helpline will be his 'personal number'. He added that if anyone demands for bribe, 'send an audio or video evidence to that number'.

  • He further added that even though 99% of the government employees are honest, 1% of them are not- who constitute for a corrupt system. He added that 'only AAP can clean this corrupt system'.
