Betty White passes away at 99

• The Golden Girls actress Betty White passed away at the age of 99. Only weeks before her milestone 100th birthday.

• It was announced by Jeff Witjas, her agent, that the actor passes away peacefully. Witjas stated, “Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever. I don’t think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again.”

• The actress began her career as a radio personality in the 1930s in Los Angeles, but it was only after being cast as Rose Nylund in the 80s sitcom ‘The Golden Girls’ that her career skyrocketed.

• Just before her death White showed her excitement over turning 100 in a heartbreaking last post. She wrote, “My 100th birthday… I cannot believe it is coming up”.
