Bank’s Credit & Deposits Up By 6% & 11.3% Respectively During Dec 5-18

  • According to the data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), bank credits increased 6.05% to ₹105.49 lakh crores.

  • The deposits increased by 11.33% to ₹144.82 lakh crores.

  • Last year during the same period, bank credits and deposits stood at ₹99.47 lakh crores and ₹130.09 lakh crores respectively.

  • Last month, the bank credits grew by 5.73% to ₹105.04 lakh crores and deposits grew by 11.34% to ₹145.92 lakh crores.
