Bank Credit Grows 3.2% In First Nine Months Of FY2020-21

  • According to the data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the bank’s credit grew 3.2% to ₹107.05 lakh crores in the first 9 months of Financial Year 2020-21. Last year, during the corresponding period, the credit grew 2.7%.

  • Bank’s deposits grew 8.5% and stood at ₹147.27 lakh crores in the first 9 months. Last year, during the corresponding period, the deposits registered an incline of 5.1%.

  • When the Financial Year 2019-20 ended on 31st March 2020, the bank’s credit stood at ₹103.72 lakh crores.
