Australian ambassador to China detained for spying

• On Wednesday the Australian ambassador to China, Yang Jun, was detained for more than 2 years in charge of espionage.

• He is kept behind closed doors in Beijing.

• Under heavy security outside the courthouse. The Chinese born Yang is 56 years old Australian High profile diplomat and was arrested in charge of spying.

• However, Australia's foreign minister Marise Payne said " This is a deep concern that China is handling the case. Yang has been tortured & he is innocent. There is no evidence that proves espionage charges against him".
