
'August 5 will be remembered in history': PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that August 5 will be remembered as a historic day in the country.
Referring to August 5 he listed three significant developments in recent times:
the abrogation of Article 370 relating to special status of Jammu and Kashmir
The laying down of the foundation stone of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya
and today's Indian men's hockey team winning an Olympic Bronze medal after 41 years
PM Modi said this as he marked the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana Diwas and also launched a programme under the same where no house in Uttar Pradesh remains hungry.
