Ashraf Ghani leaves Kabul with 4 cars & helicopter full of cash

  • According to the news report, President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani fled Kabul in the helicopter, with 4 cars stuffed heavily with cash.

  • After the Taliban army entered Kabul, Mr. Ghani, to avoid bloodshed and to save his own life, had to flee the country.

  • As per a government official who was a part of this mission, Mr. Ghani tried to stuff money in the helicopter's chopper too, but due to lack of space, he had to leave it on the airfield.

  • “As for the reasons for the collapse of the regime, they are characterized by how Ghani fled the country. Four cars were packed with money, and they tried to cram another bag of cash into the helicopter. Not all the cash managed to squeeze in, and some of the money was left lying on the airfield,” the employee said.
