
ASEAN meeting attended by Junta chief
As Myanmar’s crisis continue to sore several countries and United Nations has expressed concerns regarding the rising violence by Myanmar’s junta.
However discussion might result in a positive result as ASEAN countries say that they have agreed on a plan with Myanmar’s junta chief on Saturday to end the crisis in the violence hit region.
The US, UN and China believe that the body which has a policy of consensus decision making is best placed to make a decision. Although Myanmar’s Commander-in-chief General Min Aung Hliang continues to blame the protestors for the increasing bloodshed it is possible that the meeting with ASEAN leaders will result in a positive response.
