On Wednesday, Apple announced it will start producing 5G-ready iPhones in India.
This model will be highest even in iPhone shipments in India and this will increase the focus on local manufacturing.
The Apple owner said, "the firm is dedicated to making the best products and services in the world. This iPhone 12 in India is for local customers.”
Neil Shah, Vice president and partner at Counterpoint Research said, "PIL scheme makes value for Apple for shifting the production from China to India. Right now iPhone are expensive and thus have selective customers. There are 35 million Indian buyers of iPhone.”
"Apple has potential for ecosystem products and their MacBook are out of stock. This company sees India as the biggest Market then US and China", Mr. Shah added.
