Apex court issues notice to CEC & parties candidates of Bihar Assembly election-2020

• The Supreme court on Sunday has issued a notice to the chief election commissioner and the leaders of prominent political parties candidates of Bihar Assembly election that was held in November 2020.

• These candidates along with the CEC were filed under the allegation of failure to publish the criminal antecedent.

• A bench of justices RF Nirman, Hemant Gupta and BR Gavaihas issued a contempt petition filed by the chief electoral officer of Bihar H.R Srinivas and to JD-U general secretary KC Tyagi, RJD Bihar president and LJSP leader, Congress party leader and leader of BJP.
