Apex court issues notice to CEC & parties candidates of Bihar Assembly election-2020
The Supreme court on Sunday has issued a notice to the chief election commissioner and the leaders of prominent political parties candidates of Bihar Assembly election that was held in November 2020.
These candidates along with the CEC were filed under the allegation of failure to publish the criminal antecedent.
A bench of justices RF Nirman, Hemant Gupta and BR Gavaihas issued a contempt petition filed by the chief electoral officer of Bihar H.R Srinivas and to JD-U general secretary KC Tyagi, RJD Bihar president and LJSP leader, Congress party leader and leader of BJP.
