'Andhra is bankrupt': Former CM Naidu accuses ruling party
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu accused the ruling YSR Party of initiating a complete collapse of the constitutional mechanism, law and order system in the state.
Mr. Naidu, is currently in the national capital to approach the Centre seeking protection for his party workers and offices and also for imposition of President's rule in the state.
He stated that his party and party personnels are under attack because of the fact they revealed the ruling party's racket of drug and liquor mafia in the state.
A delegation of TDP led by Naidu met President Ram Nath Kovind on Monday with the demand for Presidential rule in the state.
He further accused the ruling party of economic mismanagement, adding that they had borrowed left and right. The state now is bankrupt and has rs 8,000 worth payments to make to contractors.
