Allowance for jobless, quota for jobless: AAP's promise for Goa elections
As Aam Aadmi Party prepares for the next year assembly elections in Goa, party chief and Delhi CM Arvinder Kejriwal today in Goa announced seven assurances. The party will fulfill these poll promises given it wins the elections.
Of these seven promises, two of the most prominent ones were an unemployment allowance of ₹ 3,000 (Rs 5,000 in some cases) and 80 per cent quota in private sector jobs for locals.
Mr.Kejriwal made a similar set of promises in Uttarakhand on Sunday and stated that if his party wins the elections, they would attempt at removing corruption from the state and assure that at least one unemployed person from each household found a job.
He also took a swipe at current CM Pramod Sawant, from the BJP- that his government's current scheme of free water (for 60% population) and doorstep delivery were running in Delhi from years.
