Allahabad HC seeks State's response on efforts to impart education amid COVID
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Allahabad High Court sought the State's answer to its attempts to restart teaching both offline and online during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in view of the unequal access to online education for non-teachers and rural students.
The High Court noted that when schools in the Uttar Pradesh will be re-opened, the Government has yet to intimate.
While this is the case, the Court observed that the broad technological imbalance in society, particularly in rural areas, has created a total digital divide between those who have and those who do not have.
