All about Russia-US key meet at Geneva
President Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin emerged from their summit Wednesday with the Russian leader deeming it “constructive” and the U.S. president calling it “positive.” But back-to-back news conferences made clear that the two sides remain at odds over human rights, cyberattacks and Ukraine.
Biden also said that there was no substitute of face to face meeting and told Mr. Putin that his agenda was not against Russia but for the American people
Notably Biden made it clear that consequences for Russia would be devastating if jailed opposition leader Alexei Navalny died
Both sides although are yet to cooperate on major issues but showed commitments to restore START arms limitation treaty and work on nuclear stability
