Alec Baldwin says cops should be present on movie sets when weapons are in use

• Weeks after the fatal incident which resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his movie ‘Rust’, on Monday Alec Baldwin took to social media to state the police officers should be present on any sets that use guns.

• The last high profile weapon related incident on a movie set, before this, was the death of actor Brandon Lee on the set of ‘The Crow’ in 1993.

• It was only after that incident that Hollywood production created strict safety measure for stunt work that used firearms on the sets of movies.
