The Shrimoni Akali Dal (SAD) today is holding the 'Black Friday' protest march against the three farm laws as today marks one year completion since the enactment of the three farm laws.
The party had planned to hold a protest march from the Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib in Delhi to the Parliament. The party however stated in tweets that Punjab number cars are being specifically stopped at the borders, Delhi's borders have been sealed and Rakab Ganj Sahib is being cordoned off to stop them.
The protest is said to be led by SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal and SAD MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal.
The party spokespersons have stated that the protest will be completely peaceful and that they will give a memorandum to the Government to repeal the three farm laws.
The passing of the three farm laws saw massive protests across states. Farmers from across states continue to protest on the borders of Delhi, as their protest is soon going to mark a year.
