Air pollution, cold a lethal combination for Covid-19 patients: Doctors

• Medical experts in the National capital region have warned that high levels of air pollution together with a stressed and exhausted medical staff and health infrastructure are indicators that the containment of Covid-19 spread is a must.

• Four northern states, which are also witnessing massive air pollution- Delhi, Haryana,Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan have reported 76% of the new Covid-19 cases.

• Arvind Singh Soin, Chairman of the Institute of Liver Transplantation said that the citizen’s public health behaviour in the next 8-10 days will be extremely crucial and it could decide India’s covid-19 wave. We have to act responsibly.
