Ahead of West Bengal poll ex- TMC MP joins BJP

• On Saturday the former Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Dinesh Trivedi joined BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) ahead of West Bengal assembly elections.

• According to a report, ahead of the poll in Tamil Nadu, 20 seats are allotted by AIADMK in Kanyakumari after a lot of negotiations by the BJP.

• However, AIADMK leader O Panneerselvam & K Palaniswami backed BJP in the election.

• TMC announced not to use PM Modi's image or posters on the Corona viruses vaccination drive and also in certificates in Bengal.

• EC writes to the Health ministry "not to promote the party in power through vaccination drive. This is a violation of the moral code of conduct.
