ADB finances 2 loans worth ₹2074 crores to India
On Tuesday, the Government of India and the Asian Development Bank signed 2 agreements for loans worth ₹2074 crores.
India will use the loan amount to develop resilient and sustainable housing for the urban poor in the state of Tamil Nadu and to improve access to safe and affordable drinking water supply in Uttarakhand.
₹1132 crores will be allocated for the development of the housing project in Tamil Nadu that will benefit 7.2 crore people.
₹942 crores will be allocated for the development of the sanitation project in Uttarakhand that will benefit nearly 1,50,000 people.
