The Aam Aadmi Party will kick off a year long Deshbhakti festival on March 12 to mark the 75 years of Independence this year. The party's government in Delhi will be financing the events. This announcement came as the party also decided to contest polls in Gujarat, UP. Uttarakhand, Goa , HP and Punjab.
Sources have revealed that on March 9, when the Delhi Budget will be tabled in the Assembly, there is likely to be a special Deshbhakti (patriotism) segment for making allocations for the celebrations.
The celebrations will mark it's beginning from March 12 at the Central Park in Connaught Place, whivh will continue till August 15, 2022. Including other festivities, there also will be shared views regarding how India should be in 2047.
Notably, the AAP government in Delhi has already introduced a proposal to induct a Deshbhakti curriculum in Government schools.
