A smashing start to the day as India wins 4 medals at Tokyo Paralympics! A Gold, 2 Silvers, 1 Bronze
Day 7 of the Tokyo Paralympics had a banging start for India as shooter Avani Lekhar clinched a Gold medal women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 event on Monday. She had a total score of 249.6 in the final.

Adding to the joy, Indian discuss thrower Yogesh Kathuniya clinched the Silver medal in the Discuss throw event in final F56 category. He acheived a best attempt of 44.38m to clinch the medal.
In the Men's javelin throw event, India bagged two medals as Devendra Jhajharia has also won a Silver medal in the men’s javelin throw and Sundar Singh Gurjar added a Bronze medal in the event.
