As the farmer protests on the borders of Delhi have entered their 51st day, the ninth round of meeting between the farmers' unions and the Centre is scheduled for today at 12pm at the Vigyan Bhavan.
This comes after the Supreme Court ruling recently that has put a stay on the implemetation of the laws and formed a committee to look into the negotiations.
As per reports, friction persists between the Union Ministers and the Farmer’s unions. Both are adamant with their positions.
The farmer union leaders wanted a discussion on the MSP- which, however the Centre has been unwilling to discuss upon.
Meeting largely turned out to be inconclusive. Next round of meeting to be held on January 19.
