96-year-old former Nazi secretary on trial
• Trial of 96-year-old former Nazi secretary has begun in Germany.
• Former secretary at the Stutthof concentration camp in Nazi-occupied Poland Irmgard Furchner has been charged with aiding and abetting murder in 11,412 cases, as well as a complicity in 18 cases of attempted murder.
• Her case was brought after John Demjanjuk, former camp guard was convicted in 2011 in the murder 28,000 people.
• Because Furchner was 18 when she started working in the camp and during the allege crimes she was involved in, she is being tried in a juvenile court.
