Revived after six years the Trilateral National Security advisers level maritime security cooperation meeting was held at Sri Lanka.
India’s National Security Adviser Ajit Doval arrived in Sri Lanka on Friday and called on the island country’s Prime Minister Mahindra Rajapaksa. The Trilateral meet saw the participation of India, Sri Lanka and The Maldives.
The three countries agreed to expand the scope of intelligence sharing , cyber security and also discussed “common security threats” like extremism , drugs, human trafficking and money laundering.
