Onkar Mehra400% rise in cyber crime against kids: NCRB data
According to the data released by NCRB, the cybercrime cases against kids have increased by more than 400% in 2020 in comparison to the cases reported in 2019.
These cases involved publishing or transmitting materials depicting children in a sexually explicit act.
In total 842 cybercrimes have been reported out of which 738 cases are against kids.
Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Odisha have reported most of the cases.
