3-kg Bomb Found At Delhi Flower Market; aimed at causing huge damage
A 3-kg bomb was found in a flower market in an abandoned bag in Delhi today morning. The police suspect it was a terror attempt ahead of the January 26 Republic Day celebrations.
The bomb was disposed after a careful explosion was carried out by the police to defuse the bomb planted at the Ghazipur market, which is usually a busy market.
An eight-foot pit was dug to carry out the controlled blast at the market located near the border between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
It was informed that the bag containing the bomb was placed at the spot by a man who arrived a scooty in the flower market, and left both the scooty and bag there. A flower seller after observing the incident informed the police of it.
