Akshat Sharma28-year-old Woman files FIR against Husband over WhatsApp Triple Talaq
A 28-year-old Pune lady has filed a complaint with the Samartha police station, alleging that her husband divorced her by sending her a talaq message on WhatsApp.
After filing an application for the registration of an FIR, the offence was reported to the Samaratha police station.
Alia Mohammad Yusuf (28), a homemaker from Chamde Galli in Nana Peth, has been identified as the victim.
Her husband, Sajid Magdum Shaikh, and mother-in-law, Zaibunissa, both inhabitants of Lohiya Nagar in Ganj Peth, harassed her and requested that she bring money from her father's house to buy a cooler, iron, and a flat, according to her complaint.
They are accused of abusing and threatening her.
