2022 Monkeypox outbreak

• The world is currently facing an international outbreak of Monkeypox, with over 800 cases being detected across the world.

• The cases have been detected in Argentina, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Portugal.

• Around 200 to 100 cases have been detected in each country.

• According to doctors and medical experts around the world, such a broad spread is an indicator of a widespread human-to-human transmission which is currently underway.

• In the two studies that were published on Thursday, it was stated that the virus is spreading undetected in some communities and the cases are not linked to a common place or activity.
