13,327 kilometers of highways constructed in FY21: Gadkari
On Thursday, the Union Road & Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari informed the parliament that the transport ministry has constructed 13,327 kilometers of highways in the Financial Year 2020-21.
37 kilometers of highways have been constructed each day.
He also wrote in a written reply that to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the ministry provided several COVID-19 relief measures to contractors, concessionaires, and consultants.
