According to the news report, 11 states in India have achieved the target for capital expenditure (Capex) in the first quarter of the financial year 2021-22.
The target has been set by the Government of India.
After the completion of the target, these states have been granted permission to borrow an additional amount of ₹15,721 crores by the Department of Expenditures.
These states are Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand.
On Tuesday, the Finance Ministry of India released the statement.
